Dr. Matthew Wendt is an accomplished school administrator who serves as a foreign principal, consultant, and teacher in Shenzhen and Beijing, China. Also a former superintendent, Dr. Matthew Wendt is vastly experienced in his field and has a doctor of education in educational leadership and administration from the University of Arkansas. He previously worked as a superintendent of schools in various institutions across the United States. 

A school superintendent plays the primary managerial role at a school district. These individuals are hired by the state’s board of education and remain in close contact with it, as well as offer it updates on current events within the district. Furthermore, superintendents must institute the educational policies outlined by the board.
